Color Aftercare
Do not wash your hair after color for the next 48 hours. This will allow your color to ‘cure’ (think nail polish). The cuticle layer will have a chance to close, in turn your color will last longer.
Refrain from dunking hair in chlorine or salt water. This will remove color prematurely. Chlorine can also turn blonde hair green if not properly clarified.
Be sure to use a proper pH balanced shampoo and conditioner as recommended. Your hair is an investment and your shampoo and conditioner are like your insurance policy.
Be sure to clarify every 4-5 shampoos with a pH balanced clarifying shampoo as recommended. Please come into your next appointment with clean, clarified hair. This will help avoid chemical reactions and allow the color to work better.
A shower head filter is a good idea as this will help filter any impurities in your water, leaving your hair healthier and cleaner.
A recommended mask treatment is a good idea to do once a week. This will keep the hair stronger and healthier.

Extension Aftercare
Be sure to use a pH balanced shampoo and conditioner. This will help avoid fading as well as the general health of your new hair.
When shampooing, make sure you are cleansing your scalp and at the weft as best as you can. Avoid shampooing your lengths unless you are really needing to remove product buildup. This will help avoid matting and keep your scalp clean and healthy.
Make sure to always condition your length. Leave in conditioners are a very good idea and will help avoid tangling and matting.
Brushing your hair daily AM & PM is crucial. A natural bristle brush or a wet brush are both great tools to have. Brushing though out the day as needed will also help avoid matting.
When sleeping, tie hair in a low pony with a soft scrunchie, or a loose braid.
If swimming, please do not get your hair wet. Chlorine and salt water are not friends with extensions and will lead to matting and color fading. If hair is matted, we may have to purchase new hair as a lot of times it cannot be salvaged.
